Electrical cycle || Advantages & Disadvantages of Electricity || All Laws related to electricity

Electricity - Electricity is defined as the flow of electric charge.Electrical energy can be created if a magnet passes close to a metal wire.Electricity travels at the speed of light, about 300,000 kilometres per second.

It is a secondary energy source we can  get it from the conversion of other natural sources of energy, like coal, natural gas, oil, nuclear power and other natural sources which are called primary sources.
India is the world's third largest producer and third largest consumer of electricity.

Applications Of Electricity ;

  • It's used in our daily life at our home for lightning the electrical equipments.
  • It's used for operating the other home appliances like Water heater, water cooler, refrigerator, computer etc.
  • It's used in Industries for running the machinery.
  • It's used in Transport i.e trauns, busses, cars etc.

Advantages of Electricity ;

  • Efficient way to transfer energy from one place to another.
  • Useful for powering electronic circuits.
  • It does not create pollution.
  • It can be use through out the world.
  • It's renewal.

Disadvantages of Electricity ;

  • We use other forms of energy to generate electricity.
  • Electric devices, circuits, and Transmission lines have shock hazards fot the human beings.

Laws related to electricity ;

There are some most important and basic laws related to Electrical Engineering which should be learnt by all electrical & mechanical engineers.

  • Law of conservation of charge
  • Law of conservation of energy
  • Kirchhoff's voltage law
  • Kirchhoff's current law
  • Ohm's law
  • Joule's law
  • Faraday law of electromagnetic
  • Gauss’s law
  • Culamb's law
  • Lenz’s law

Similar Briefs ;

  • Conductor - An item which allows electricity to move through it is called a conductor. Copper wires and other metal items are good conductors, allowing electricity to move through them and transmit electrical energy.
  • Insulator : An item which doesn't allow electricity to move through it is called a insulator.

I hope This will help You

Laws of thermodynamics   Zeroth law of thermodynamics ; The zeroth law of thermodynamics states that if two thermodynamic systems are each in thermal equilibrium with a third one, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other.  1st law of Thermodynamics - The first law of thermodynamics, also known as Law of Conservation of Energy which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed it can only be transferred or changed from one form to another. Example; The change in Internal energy of a system is equal to the heat added to the system minus work done by the system ΔU = Q – W limitations of the first law of Thermodynamics; No restrictions on direction of heat flow.  It doesn't tell about the feasibility(?) Of a reaction.  To overcome these limitations another law is needed 2nd law; It helps us to predict whether the reaction is feasible or not and also tell the direction of the flow of heat. It also tells that energy cannot be complet...
