15 Advantages of EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation)

15 Advantages of EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation)

How EGR works-The EGR system reduces the combustion temperature by diverting a small portion of the exhaust gases back into the intake manifold.

Advantages of EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system

  1. The fuel efficiency and efficiency  of the      engine is increased.
  2. Repairing and replacing is easy of the            EGR.
  3. The EGR valve is normally closed. There        is no EGR flow when the engine is cold, at idle speed.
  4. The Fuel consumption is reduced.
  5. EGR works by reducing the amount of oxygen in the cylinder, which lowers combustion temperatures.
  6. Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is used to reduce the levels of NOx emitted by the engine.
  7. The OBDII fault code P0401 means that the engine computer has detected that the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system flow is insufficient.
  8. The EGR valve is located in the engine compartment (underneath the hood).
  9. EGR has a significant effect on the performance of the turbocharger because the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)  valve directs a small amount of exhaust gases back into the inlet.
  10. it is illegal to remove or disable your EGR valve. it causes the vehicle to emit more than the allowable emissions limit.
  11. The penalty for an emissions component alteration can be in the thousands.
  12. EGR valve replaced on your car should cost between 10,000 to 35,000 depending on the type of car you own and what part you buy.
  13. You can clean the return tube and entry port using carburetor cleaner, and a toothbrush or pipe cleaner.
  14. EGR valves can malfunction by becoming stuck open or closed due to carbon buildup.
  15. An EGR valve that is leaking can also act like a vacuum leak and cause a random misfire.

Laws for Gases and Liquids | all laws for gases and liqud

Laws of thermodynamics   Zeroth law of thermodynamics ; The zeroth law of thermodynamics states that if two thermodynamic systems are each in thermal equilibrium with a third one, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other.  1st law of Thermodynamics - The first law of thermodynamics, also known as Law of Conservation of Energy which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed it can only be transferred or changed from one form to another. Example; The change in Internal energy of a system is equal to the heat added to the system minus work done by the system ΔU = Q – W limitations of the first law of Thermodynamics; No restrictions on direction of heat flow.  It doesn't tell about the feasibility(?) Of a reaction.  To overcome these limitations another law is needed 2nd law; It helps us to predict whether the reaction is feasible or not and also tell the direction of the flow of heat. It also tells that energy cannot be complet...
